Kyle Killebrew

I started racing locally in 1981, and began racing professionally in 1988(16 years old). In 1990 I had a full Honda support ride, midway through the year I had a career stopping injury that sidelined me until 1997. In 2000 while racing in Costa Rica I met Jeff Willoh (1996 supercross main event winner), and in 2006 we began West Coast MX School together. Since then I have trained many students to the professional level of racing, and look forard to continuing to do so for the years to come.
Carrie Killebrew
I began racing in 2006, and recieved my AMA Women's Professional License in 2017 (age 17). In the 2017 AMA Women's pro series I finished 7th overall, while my highest career finish was a 4th place in the series. I recently finished 15th overall in the 2025 AMA pro series, despite a DNF at round 4 with an injury that put me out for the final 2 rounds. In 2024, I recieved my USMCA coaching license and began coahing alongside my dad for West Coast MX School, together we offer a unique experience with 2 trainers, and an abundent amount of information to pass on to our students.

I highly recommend West Coast MX School. Carrie Anne and Kyle are extremely passionate about the sport and they genuinely care about their student's growth and success. Both have extensive practical racing experience and their ability to listen, understand, and offer practical advice is unmatched. Both my daughter (age 12) and son (age 14) have been coached by West Coast MX for over a year. They have both exhibited significant growth, resulting in racing successes, but more importantly, have developed into more controlled and safer riders. Their enthusiasm for the sport and their students fosters a positive, inspiring atmosphere that facilitates the students’ successes and confidence. Carrie Anne and Kyle are able to connect with my kids and provide the perfect balance of motivation, empathy and guidance. I’m grateful for their hard work with my children and look forward to many years together.

My son has been training with West Coast MX School, and the difference has been incredible. The father-daughter coaching team not only knows the sport inside and out but also connects with the riders on a personal level. They push him to improve while keeping it fun, and I can see his confidence and skills growing every week. I highly recommend this school to any parent who wants to see their kid progress in motocross.

Training at West Coast MX School has really boosted my riding. As an intermediate racer, I was looking for ways to fine-tune my technique, and the father-daughter coaching team has been awesome at breaking things down and pushing me to get better. They make it fun while still challenging me, and I can already feel the difference in my speed and confidence on the track.
